Our Focus

What we Specialise In

Engagement

Increase your value as an owner so that in high distraction environments your dog chooses to be with you.

Interactive play

A great way to help build a stronger bond with your dog. A strong bond leads to better behaviours and general obedience.

Recall

Proven tools and strategies to effectively improve your dog’s recall and putting this to the test in more distracting environments.

In-house training

Working on toilet training, crate training and general house manners ensuring you have full faith in your dog when you cannot supervise.

Social exposure

Ensuring correct interactions with dogs to avoid confrontation or devaluing of you as a owner. Also, working on recall out of play.

Environmental exposure

Allowing your puppy to explore and sniff the outside world, prevents developing any fear or reactivity and increases confidence.

Puppy Training

Puppy training is all about positive social and environmental exposure, shaping a well-rounded, confident dog. We introduce puppies to new sights, sounds, and experiences, helping them stay calm and neutral around other dogs - reducing the risk of reactivity as they grow. Once they’re comfortable in their surroundings, we focus on loose-lead walking, general obedience, and advanced commands, setting the foundation for a well-behaved and adaptable companion!

FAQs

  • The sooner, the better! Puppies are like sponges, and the ideal time to start training is as early as 8 weeks old. Early training focuses on socialisation, confidence-building, and foundational obedience to set them up for success as they go into adulthood.

That said, older dogs can absolutely be trained too! Whether your dog is a teenager or a senior, it’s never too later to teach them new skills or address behavioural challenges. With patience, consistency, and the right approach, dogs of all ages can thrive in training.

  • For the best start in life, our puppy training covers socialisation, environmental exposure, lead walking, general obedience, recall, and confidence-building. With two powerful approaches designed to set your puppy up for success.

1-2-1 sessions offer personalised support, allowing us to tailor training to your puppy’s specific needs, from foundational obedience to confidence-building. Alongside this, our puppy socialisation classes provide a safe, structured environment where your puppy can interact with others, learn essential social skills, and gain exposure to new experiences. When used together, these training options create a well-rounded, confident, and well-mannered dog, ready to thrive in the real world. We also help prevent common behavioural issues, ensuring your puppy grows up with no reactivity.

  • While not essential, crate training can be a game-changer! It provides your dog with a safe, cosy space to relax, helps prevent destructive behaviour and makes travel easier. When introduced positively and correctly, a crate becomes a comforting den, not a confinement.

Crate training is especially helpful for toilet training, as dogs naturally avoid soiling their sleeping area. With a structured toilet schedule and positive reinforcement, your puppy will quickly learn where and when to go. We’ll guide you through the process to ensure crate training is a positive and stress-free experience!

  • Socialisation isn’t just about meeting other dogs—it’s about exposing your puppy to different people, environments, sounds, and experiences in a positive way. A key part of this is teaching your puppy to remain neutral and not expect to greet every dog they see. Dogs that anticipate constant interaction can become frustrated or overly excitable, which may lead to behavioural issues. We guide you through structured socialisation to ensure your puppy learns to be calm, confident, and focused in all situations, making them a well-mannered and adaptable companion.
